5R55E- this is a transmission that may experience some issues at 80-100000 miles. Symptoms include
Reverse Bands snap due to wear and tear of the band itself.
CVT Transmissions are ones you need to stay away from. From 03-2011 – these have valve body issues and need to be replaced

Basically all 90s and above Hondas have issues with the torque Converter Clutch wearing out. The filters get clogged as well. 95-100,000 miles to aprox 130,000 metal from the clutch in converter will clog the filter and wear out the transmission. Remember the parts in every transmission are very close together so when something gets worn it usually means that there is another part next to it ready to wear out.
